To be included in the Business Insurance editorial directory, a company must work directly with corporate or institutional policyholders and generated at least $500,000 in gross revenues from commercial retail insurance brokerage business in 2012.
This information-rich 48-page resource includes the complete directory listings for each broker in the directory, as well as all charts, rankings, analysis and profiles published in the July 15, 2013 special report on on Broker Trends & Profiles. Charts and rankings include: world's 10 largest insurance brokers; 100 largest brokers of U.S. business; largest U.S. benefit specialists; and leading U.S. retail brokers.
The directory listings for each broker include: gross revenue, brokerage revenue, percentage of brokerage revenue from U.S.-based business and from non-U.S.-based clients, brokerage retail revenues, reinsurance revenues, employee benefits revenues, and service revenues. Also included is the total number of employees, the number of retail offices, the year the company was founded, and company officers.
